Our library is a place where the children can borrow books and read without any disturbances. Our reference material ranges from encyclopedias, and atlases, to almanacs. Nursery, Pre-K, and Kindergarten visit our library for story time. Students in Grades 1-4 can borrow books and are assisted in research projects. Students in Grades 5-8 can use our library computers, which are linked via high-speed connection to the Internet to facilitate their research projects.
We continue to receive excellent new books donated by the publishers and parents. In addition, we received a grant from New York State, which will be used to purchase reference books. These reference books will help to expand our children’s reading abilities. We ask the students to submit a review of the books they read during the summer and during the school year so we may expand the diversity of our books. These books will be shared with all of our students. The students may come to the library at any time with the permission of their teacher.
